Well, today is a big day for credit unions. We’re celebrating the 75th anniversary of International Credit Union Day®! Since 1948, this day has been all about celebrating the spirit of the global credit union movement. That includes reflecting upon the credit union movement’s history, promoting its achievements and celebrating all the members that credit unions serve every day.
There are all sorts of financial institutions trying to get your attention every day, from megabanks to online-only banks. But credit unions distinguish themselves through their commitment to the community, member-driven goals and social responsibility.
