They volunteer, mentor, lead, serve, and inspire without expecting recognition. The Outstanding Community Member Awards celebrate these everyday heroes and the positive impact they have on our communities. How It Works
It Only Takes a Few Minutes
Recognizing someone is easy!
- Complete the online nomination form.
- Tell us why your nominee deserves recognition.
- Submit your nomination before the deadline.
- Our internal selection committee will review every submission.
- Winners will be announced on October 15, 2026 in celebration of National Credit Union Day.Â
- A donation will be made in the winner’s honor to the nonprofit organization or community project of their choosing.
Who Can Be Nominated?
Eligibility Requirements
Nominees should be individuals who make a positive impact within Calhoun, Liberty, Gulf, or Franklin County through service, leadership, volunteerism, mentorship, or other meaningful contributions.
To be eligible:
- Must live, work, volunteer, or serve within one of the four participating counties.
- Must fit within one of the listed age categories.
- Individuals may be nominated by anyone.
- Self-nominations are not accepted.
- One nomination per person is encouraged.
- Complete nominations submitted before the deadline will be considered.

Who selects the winners?
A selection committee from Calhoun Liberty Credit Union will review all eligible nominations using a consistent scoring process based on community impact, leadership, service, and the strength of each nominee’s story.
Can I nominate more than one person?
Yes. A separate nomination form should be completed for each individual.
Can I nominate someone from another county?
Nominees must make an impact within Calhoun, Liberty, Gulf, or Franklin counties.
When will winners be announced?
Winners will be revealed on October 15, 2026, during National Credit Union Day.
