My Money Program
What is the My Money Program?
The My Money Program, created by the Florida Department of Financial Services, is a comprehensive financial literacy program designed to empower individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, guardians, and caregivers. This inclusive Program provides our exceptional citizens and communities with the knowledge to become financially sound and independent through fun & interactive tools, activities, games, educational videos, helpful tips, and other resources. The Program also includes easy to follow lessons on money management and practical advice for everyday financial decisions.
Who Can Benefit?
Individuals with developmental challenges can learn financial basics, create spending plans, and explore income and savings in an engaging and self-paced format. A wide range of lessons are available from money basics to personal finance to budgeting. Parents, guardians, and support providers can access these resources directly to help guide financial learning.
